Wolf Moon

I actually got out my camera operational manual to prep for some shots of the Wolf Moon the other night. I miss my old SLR cameras. I KNEW how to operate them. But there is that instant gratification factor the old timers just didn't provide...

And while the sky was too cloudy to get a shot of the moon I did learn how too shoot a nightsky photo. And I practiced on some rainy day shots:

I learned about a nifty tool that takes a normal shot

followed up by a flash shot.

Then of course, I practice on my long suffering companion.

Long suffering companions really don't care as long as you don't wake them or look too threatening. Your camera is taking some great photos.
Good shots Stephanie. I especially love your fluffy companion...cute!
I really want to learn some more about my camera!
On the "to do" list for sure!

I'm glad my dog doesn't demand modeling fees or I'd be bankrupt.

Great photos Stephanie!

What great photos!

You mean that little book that comes with the camera when you purchase it has information in there? Hmmm...
:-)

Love your puppy! (they are ALL puppies to me...)

Hi Stephanie! Great photos! I wish I had your camera and talent because that Wolf Moon was so awesome! We were driving that night up to northern Wisconsin and it lit the way for us. Then upon arriving, it glowed on the frozen lake - mesmerizing!

I like how you caught the water drops! Nice job!
Great shots! I suppose I could take better shots if I actually read the manual........

I love these buds with the hanging drops of rainwater. It is not easy to catch the light at just the right moment for a shot like this....
