Late?

Theme Thursday

I heard the first Christmas carol on November 16. Turns out that radio station is playing round the clock Christmas music from that moment until the season is over. Since their season began November 16 - I figure it will end after New Years Day.

Their underlying motive is to get consumers spending. Guess it will work on me as I will be buying lots of music for my car trips.

It’s not late enough !!!!

"He who is not too late will be too early". Some wise person said that. Or maybe it was me. Happy Theme Thursday Stephanie.

That was cute! I also hate the season starting so early! It is a joke!

Music has started up early, but not for my son or my nephew. They are both happy as clams to be listening to it already!

This is my first visit to your blog. It would be interesting to know the stats on something like "when does that average start period for xmas music start?"

My first visit to your blog also, and I liked what I saw. You appear to be a very self reliant lady. Sign me up!

They get earlier every year on one of our local radio stations. They started last week and call it mix-mas....I wont listen until the day after Thanksgiving..Then I'll be all festive and ready to deck the halls.
The thing about holidays... they are at the same time every year. You can avoid them and still not miss them. -jayne

and the christmas commercials on the boob tube have started...all this early season just makes me so sick of the whole ball of wax that by the time the big day arrives I have no joy...bah humbug!

Too comercial by half. I love Christmas for the way it can bring families together but the spirit of Christmas should last all year.
